Our Commitment to Neuroaffirming Therapy

A neuroaffirming practice acknowledges that neurodiversity, including autism, ADHD, and learning differences, is a natural and valuable part of human variation.

We work from a neuroaffirming lens, respecting each child’s individual identity, communication style, sensory needs, and way of thinking. Rather than focusing on “fixing” behaviours, we aim to understand what a child is communicating, reduce distress, and build on their strengths. Our therapy and assessment approaches are tailored to be respectful, empowering, and inclusive, creating a safe space where young people feel seen, heard, and supported as they are.
